Planted in 2011, this 3,375 sq. ft. front and side yard combine naturalistic chaparral and woodland plantings along a dry creek bed and native grass meadow that harmonize with the surrounding hillsides of the San Fernando Valley. Always in bloom, the garden attracts numerous butterflies, lizards, birds, and beneficial insects. The permeable front walk and driveway were created by re-using on-site materials.
