This garden celebrates the memory and spirit of Kathleen Russell who passed away in March of 2014. Planted seven years ago, this 1,200 sq. ft. native front yard demonstrates Kathy’s commitment to enhancing the urban environment and connecting with the local community. A vigorous native grape covers a wooden arbor and provides a warm welcome into the comfortable, aromatic space that is an oasis for both people and wildlife.
